The center for Data Science and Service Research (DSSR) is committed to conduct research that analyzes high dimensional large scale data and then promotes innovation and improving productivity in service industry, in turn, leading to sustainable economic growth. Our mission also includes finding solutions to contemporary socio-economic issues, including recovery of disasters. The research approach is distinguished by the fact that the analysis of high dimensional data is developed and applied on the ground of theory and knowledge in economics and management, that is, the fusion of data science and economics and management. We also promote the collaborative research on these issues with overseas and inland research institutes.
